Bonded Pairs- Rabbits

BASIC ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS

 Adoption Application - Apply here!

Upon arrival at Avalon, all bunnies receive veterinary evaluation and care, including flea and mite treatment as needed.  Bunnies are vaccinated for RHDV2, and most are spayed/neutered before being adopted.  For those that are not fixed prior to adoption (this can happen when a baby is adopted before being old enough for surgery), we work with adoptive families to make that happen ASAP, using our vet or theirs.  Until the bunnies are fixed, we consider them as a "foster to adopt" status. Spaying and neutering bunnies is incredibly important for their overall health and general wellbeing.

Raspberry and Boysenberry

Sex: males

Neutered, RHD vaccinated, litter trained

DOB: est March 2023

Boysenberry and Raspberry are 2 of the nicest boys who have had the hardest time finding a home.

They were rescued, moments from being killed to be eaten, with their 2 sisters (Eleanor and Ivy).

These 2 were absolutely terrified of people upon intake, but love slowly softened their hardened exterior, and they began to show their personalities much more.

Today, we have 2 of the kindest, silliest boys here at Avalon. Boysenberry is the braver, more social boy. Raspberry relies on his brother to help show him things are safe, as he is more cautious.

They love to spend time outside mowing the lawn, ripping up cardboard boxes, and chewy apple sticks.

Whoever takes these boys is truly going to be so blessed.

They need a calmer home that can provide them with space to rest, as they can be emotionally overwhelmed if their is constant noise or chaos.

Amity and Magnolia (bonded mom and daughter)

Sex: females

Alteration status: Amity spayed, Magnolia awaiting.

DOB: Amity est 3 years in April 2024, Magnolia DOB 4/7/23

Amity was rescued as part of a 22 bunny seize after they were dumped before a snowstorm. She was pregnant with 3 littles at the time of her rescue.

In foster care, Amity had her babies behind a shelf and hid them for 4 weeks. One day, our foster saw 3 adorable little puffballs coming out from hiding.

One of those puffballs was her daughter, Magnolia.

Amity and Magnolia now look like sisters, as her sweet baby is so big. They love each other, and love to explore.

They would love to be in a space in their new home that is very interactive and busy so they can be included in the family.

Litter trained.
